Event details:
This is an in-person only event.
Guy Goodale from QBE Insurance (Australia) Limited will take attendees on a practical journey through the investigation process, drawing on his experience across both the public and private sectors.
Using real-world case studies, Guy will demonstrate how investigative thinking can be applied in practice, including identifying lines of enquiry, assessing evidence, recognising fraud indicators and adapting an investigation as new information emerges. The case studies will also highlight how robust investigations can support loss prevention, successful outcomes and recovery opportunities.
The session will focus on practical lessons and strategies that are transferable across different investigative environments, whether dealing with fraud, misconduct, financial loss or complex claims.
For those attending, networking and nibbles will begin at 5 pm, with the presentation starting at 5.30 pm. For those joining online, the presentation is expected to finish at approximately 6.30 pm.
We encourage you to get involved and ask questions throughout the session. There will also be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
We look forward to welcoming you to an informative and engaging event.
