The ACFE New Zealand Chapter is pleased to invite members to an Ethics Training session, presented by Associate Professor Hedy Huang of Massey University.

This professional development event will explore the critical role of ethics in fraud prevention, investigation, governance, and professional decision-making. The session is designed to support members in meeting their ongoing ethical and professional responsibilities and qualifies for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit.

In this event, Dr Hedy Huang will include the following topics:

Conflicts of Interest
Privacy and information handling
Objectivity
Ethical dilemmas case studies

CPE Credit: This session is eligible for ACFE CPE requirements

Speaker: Associate Professor Hedy Huang, Massey University

Associate Professor Hedy Huang is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and an active contributor to the accounting profession. She currently serves as the New Zealand Councillor for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

Hedy was the recipient of both the 2024 Massey Business School Rich Buchanan Excellence in Teaching Award and the 2024 Vice-Chancellor's Teaching Excellence Award. She supervises master's and doctoral students and has extensive research and teaching expertise in auditing, corporate governance, sustainability, and management accounting. She also serves as Editor of the Pacific Accounting Review. This session will provide valuable insights into ethical principles, professional conduct, and the application of ethical decision-making in contemporary business and fraud examination environments.
